New games are so expensive that it would be a blessing if there was at least more of a pull factor with backwards compatibility. With PC or PS4 ports which already EXIST as 1080p_60 versions, publishers could very easily add “experimental” options which become available if the game detects the Switch 2. Like, tinkering with lighting and textures would be significant work, but increasing rendering resolution to 1080p would be managable and unlocking the framerate to 60 (or even 90/120 for 2D Indies) should be like two lines of code.At a bare minimum, they would just add those toggles for 60fps AND 1080p, and if both or only one of those work is the issue of the player (like on PC). Alternatively, they can of course actually test it and introduce a higher fixed rate like 45fps for example to get stable 1080p, or 900p for 60fps. That would vastly improve stuff like Batman Arkham, DOOM or Red Dead for very little investment.Nintendo SHOULD encourage that by HIGHLIGHTING any Switch 1 games which were improved for free in their own eShop category for a certain timeframe and mark them with a special badge or something.

I always see people complaining about this gen sucking and ps5 with no games so I try comparing generations to see how we stack up

Do you assume everyone is atheist by default? via /r/atheism
Do you assume everyone is atheist by default?
I caught myself on that behaviour lately. Especially when meeting people online, I always assume they are atheist until shown otherwise.
When they’re not, I usually end up surprised and/or disappointed.
But I just find it more respectful to assume the best from the beginning.
When you meet a person you know nothing about on friendly terms, do you have assumptions about their religion?
